Deuteronomy 31:6 (NIV)
6 Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.
STRONG ONE ~
I often think of a super hero when I think of a strong person. I also think of a person who overcomes strong difficulties of life. Someone who pressing forward when life gets a little hard and somehow super faith comes out.
Philippians 3:14-15 (NIV)
14 I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
Following Paul’s Example15 All of us, then, who are mature should take such a view of things. And if on some point you think differently, that too God will make clear to you.
There will be times in life when we need to trust God through it all. Maybe the clear path is not ahead and you only can walk by faith. During that faith time, God will make things clear. Life is a process of change and learning to deal with things. Leaning toward God, opens your understanding to his plan for you. Maybe it isn't the way you thought, but God has a plan. I often think of Jeremiah 29:11 A plan, A promise and A future. That holds true for each of us.
STRONG ~
My husband was talking with someone about this mom. He immediately started crying and felt like he didn't make all the right choices for his mom. She became unable to make health choices for herself and my husband had to step in. Making those choices became harder than he thought. I totally believe he did make right choices, but there were people who planted wrong thoughts inside his head. He open his mind to listen to wrong and doubt himself. I began to tell him that he made right choices and he was a strong son who cared greatly about this mom. He walked through the last years and days of her life.
There will be times that we second guess ourselves. My husband has a choice to believe he did his best or believe others who wasn't even there. Receiving positive words about yourself and know that God had plan you to make hard choices. I'm proud of my husband because I know it's hard. I was the one who had to make hard choices for my mom too. Somewhere along the way, we became the decision makers of our moms. I believe that someone needs to read this today. There will be times when you must tell yourself, you did the best you could. Don't be hard on yourself and know that God is the one who has timing of life and death.
STRONG ~
Even in seasons of hard times, our minds wonder and question where God might be. How come this happen to me or to my family. Other questions may appear to inside your mind. Just the wonder of it all and yet, you know you must be strong. Inside of you is strength through Jesus and hope beyond a human understanding. God will make us stronger as we turn our thoughts to him. It's the process of trusting God with all your heart.
I like the picture above, we never know how strong we are until being strong is all you have. My thoughts and prayers are with the readers of my blog today, our family and friends. We are not always in the same spots of life, but we do serve the same God. In times of not understanding, continue to hold on by faith and trust beyond limits. God wants greater things for you!
Throughout my life, I've felt weak, but I look back to see how strong I really was in life. I didn't think I could do it but God knew I could. I like sharing real life with you daily and I do care. Purpose this a good day!
