STRONG ENOUGH ~ There comes a time when we must trust God with our complete heart. Things in life will happen and we reach out with all we have to God. Asking, praying, seeking and hoping he answers quickly. We must be rooted in the word (Bible) of God and grow daily as we read it. When we know scriptures, we know that God is greater than our hard time. God helps us in know we must be strong because that's all we have. He is there waiting and willing to help us, but we must release the things we can not change. I know that God is the Vine and we are the branches.
John 15 New International Version (NIV)
The Vine and the Branches
“I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. 2 He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful. 3 You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. 4 Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.
5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. 6 If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. 7 If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. 8 This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.
9 “As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. 10 If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love. 11 I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete. 12 My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.
13 Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. 14 You are my friends if you do what I command. 15 I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.
16 You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you. 17 This is my command: Love each other.
STRONG EHOUGH ~
I have seen too many miracles to doubt the power of God. There has been too many changes in my life to think that God can not do something impossible. God turns things around and we can see blessings in knowing that God is in control. Turning our will over to God and allow change to happen for the best. I will also say that it's not easy when hard things hit your life. I didn't think I was strong enough to live through my dad's death at 18 years old. I was mad and upset with God. I saw my mom want to die and cry for days, months and years. I had to become stronger but not before I became weaker. I was tired, sick and nerves were out of control. The emergency doctor told my aunt, you need to help this girl. Change her surrounds and help her. I don't know if my aunt knew what to do, but somehow God stirred my heart to take my mom to church. It was a thought and a step into the right direction.
Today, I'm only asking you to take one step into the right direction. Maybe you are hurt, upset, angry, frustration or maybe you are great. Either way, we need to take one step into the right direction and allow God to mold us. He wants more for each of our lives. He wants us to live in freedom of mind and thoughts. You might not feel strong enough, but God says this:
1 Corinthians 10:13 New International Version (NIV)No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.
God provides a way out of things. Ask him, seek him and trust him in all areas of your life. My prayers continue for those who read my blog, your family and friends. Thank you for taking the time to read this and taking another step toward what is right. God hears the cry of your heart and will answer.
