Isaiah 41:10 (NIV)
So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
STRESSFUL TIMES ~ The year 2020 has brought on so much stress to people. Loosing jobs, loosing homes, needing food, school changes, sickness and shelter in place. Many people don't have the money to survive this time of life. Shut downs are causing people so much stress. When it all began in March of this year, I honestly thought that the month of July would bring so many new beginnings. When in fact, living in California, it has gone backwards. Business closing down again and the big wonder of what is next takes place.
Psalm 55:22 (NIV)
Cast your cares on the Lord
and he will sustain you;
he will never let
the righteous be shaken.
John 14:27 (NIV)
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
REST IN KNOWING GOD IS WITH YOU!
I find myself feeling stressed and then turn my thoughts back to God. If there is nothing I can do about a situation, then I make the best of things. No reason to keep replaying things over that are out of my control. Be a peacemaker and that means peace inside yourself. Sure the virus time of life can be scary, but I don't know have to let fear overcome me. Neither do you, you can be careful and do your best daily with what is in this day. Purpose to be happy, keep smiling and press forward in joy of life. After all, it's better that staying sad and stressed.
Be care of the things you complain about life. Suddenly things can change and you wish you had more time with someone. I know this too much with my own mom. I saw the negative and the pressure of taking care of her. I never should have felt that, because it was a pleasure not pressure. Now I can't change a thing, she lives in Heaven, but I can express to others do your best daily with aging parents and grandparents. After my mom passed away, several workers spoke to me about her. I heard she was a woman of faith and taught them so much. Wow, I was surprised to hear this and so grateful she helped others. We just never know how one life affects someone else.
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends. I hope my examples help you too. It's not about yesterdays, but about today and what you can change in this day. Keep a positive mindset and do your best.
