Isaiah 12 (NIV)
Songs of Praise
In that day you will say:
“I will praise you, Lord.
Although you were angry with me,
your anger has turned away
and you have comforted me.
2 Surely God is my salvation;
I will trust and not be afraid.
The Lord, the Lord himself, is my strength and my defense;
he has become my salvation.”
3 With joy you will draw water
from the wells of salvation.
4 In that day you will say:
“Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name;
make known among the nations what he has done,
and proclaim that his name is exalted.
5 Sing to the Lord, for he has done glorious things;
let this be known to all the world.
6 Shout aloud and sing for joy, people of Zion,
for great is the Holy One of Israel among you.”
STRENGTH ~
Sing a song of joy
Each day of life, we have choices of attitude and how we will handle things. We look into the mirror of our soul and find strength to face a new day. Even in a new day, disappointments of life can come. It also brings joy in other areas. Just a mixture of life and the journey we travel in one day. Find your strength in God and rest in knowing that he works things out.
We won't understand everything, but we will understand a new way of thinking as we turn our thoughts to God. Getting to know him through grace and letting go of things we can not change. We learn to deal with new normals and that is just part of life. Through it all, I've learned to trust in God. The Bible says that we have all sinned and coming to God is our own choice. Living as if it were your last day on earth and yet planning for tomorrow.
Finding scripture does bring hope, but we must choose to rest our minds in God. It is often easier for us to deal with others, than our own minds. Please rest your mind and set it on greater things. This to shall pass and new beginnings happen. My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
