Galatians 6:4-5 (NIV)
Each one should test their own actions. Then they can take pride in themselves alone, without comparing themselves to someone else, 5 for each one should carry their own load.
There is a difference between comparing our life to someone else and following Christ. There are lives that are true examples of what a Christian is all about. There are other lives that we should not follow and allow God to mold us.
1 Corinthians 11:1 (NIV)
Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ.
STOP COMPARING ~
Live your life one day at a time, but plan for tomorrow. God has given us gifts and we often don't see them, but we want more. God gives us life and second chances. God gives us freedom to choose things in life. He trust us to do his will and let him mold us into his purpose for your life. Yet, we don't always choose right and consequences follow our lives.
When I stopped comparing my life to someone else, I saw how God has used my life. I continue to see how God uses my life daily and my example makes such a difference. No, I can not do wha you do but I never was meant to be you. I was meant to be me and my example matters too.
Ephesians 2:10 New Living Translation (NLT)
For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.
If we could only see that God had a plan a long time ago and it continues today. Nobody can do what you are called to do, nobody! For example, if we could imagine a baseball team. It consist of a coach and each player has a spot. Not everybody can be the pitcher or catcher in the game. There are other positions and each one holds a valuable spot. Just like you, you hold a valuable position in God's plan. It's time to give thanks for all you do have and stop comparing your life to others.
I AM WHO I AM ~
Embrace being you and love the person God created you to be.
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
