Isaiah 40:27-31 New International Version (NIV)
27 Why do you complain, Jacob?
Why do you say, Israel,
“My way is hidden from the Lord;
my cause is disregarded by my God”?
28 Do you not know?
Have you not heard?
The Lord is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary,
and his understanding no one can fathom.
29 He gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak.
30 Even youths grow tired and weary,
and young men stumble and fall;
31 but those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.
STIR UP HOPE ~
If we keep our eyes upon the news, we can grow weary.
If we keep our eyes upon the Lord, we can stir up hope!
I often think of how blessed I am to have internet, computer, iPhone and communication with others. Daily I stir up hope that we are one day closer to the end of this virus. We are one day closure to be able to go back to jobs, schools, church, family and friends. It is our mindset that will make a difference. We can look at the negative or choose to look at the positive. Shaking off crazy thoughts and grabbing onto knowing God continues to be a miracle worker. Purpose this a good day. Make sure you reach out to someone who matters to you.
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
