Philippians 4:8 English Standard Version (ESV)
Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.
Ephesians 4:31-32 English Standard Version (ESV)
Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. 32 Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.
STAY TRUE ~
To what you know is true
Philippians 4:13 English Standard Version (ESV)13 I can do all things through him who strengthens me.
Have you ever been around a person who feels defeated? There attitude can be one saying, "nothing good ever happens to me". I grew up hearing my mom say that over and over. I grew believing that nothing good would ever happen to me when I was little. My mom was also very superstitious and I believed whatever she said. I remember she turned our car around because a black car ran in front of our car. The list can go on but I think you get the point. What we say to ourselves and teach our kids matters.
STAY TRUE ~
Live your life as an example of Jesus
Do your best daily to speak positive words about yourself and seeing yourself the way God does. He see's ourselves forgiven and valued. He see's us important and designed us different for a reason. I am not suppose to be your nor you me. Each of us hold our own unique qualities and ministries of life. Ministry is about living your life as Jesus shows us and kindness. Forgiving and letting go of harsh words spoken to us too. I don't blame my mom for teaching me those things, she was taught those things in life. She grew up in a different generation and life was changing so much.
I have taught my own kids things that were wrong. I believed what I was told and I made many changes in my own life. We learn from life and we learn from each other. My daughter (Tracy) has taught me many things in life. She studied and become a mental health worker. She worked hard to become the person she is today and helping others. I've proud of her in many ways. I've grown over life not only in age but in wisdom. Things to say and things not to say. Life is a continual journey and can be so good.
Today and everyday, see yourself important! God's plan continues and speaking words of life is the key to a smile. My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
