Life can be viewed through eyes of the past, present and future. There are different stages of life. Each one holding it's own purpose and trusting God through it all.
Lamentations 3:22-33 New International Version (NIV)
22 Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed,
for his compassions never fail.
23 They are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness.
24 I say to myself, “The Lord is my portion;
therefore I will wait for him.”
25 The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him,
to the one who seeks him;
26 it is good to wait quietly
for the salvation of the Lord.
27 It is good for a man to bear the yoke
while he is young.
28 Let him sit alone in silence,
for the Lord has laid it on him.
29 Let him bury his face in the dust--
there may yet be hope.
30 Let him offer his cheek to one who would strike him,
and let him be filled with disgrace.
31 For no one is cast off
by the Lord forever.
32 Though he brings grief, he will show compassion,
so great is his unfailing love.
33 For he does not willingly bring affliction
or grief to anyone.
UNFAILING LOVE ~ Everyday
There are many different stages of life, but God's love remains the same. If we could only focus on the things God has done for us. The balance of life in a day can bring change and we never know what the next moment might bring. God is faithful to us and we need to be faithful back to him. Giving thanks and praise through out the day. I see how precious life is as I grow older. I see how God has connected my life to others and my example is important. Just like your example is important too.
Verse 25 above:
The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him,
to the one who seeks him
Let us not forget to seek the Lord with all our hearts. I have found if I stay in positive thoughts, the outcome is much better. There is hope in God and he promises to come to our rescue in life. Certain things may draw us further away from God or closer to God. It is our choice how we handle each situation of life and each day of life. Choosing to live in peace of mind is a must.
Romans 12:2 (NIV)
Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
I remember telling myself good job today and not being so hard on myself. When you do your best daily, that's about all you can do. Leaning to God for understanding and not always questionings the why's of life. Trusting God that he has this day in his hands and praising him of all he has already done in our lives. Life is short and purpose this a good day!
Someone asked me why I say this, "you always say purpose this a good day, why"? I began to tell them because I lived in the past and I missed out on the new day. Not anymore, I purpose each day a good day and enjoy it to the fullest. Don't allow your thoughts or life to live in the past. We can remember things and that's okay, but live in today! If it holds you back, let it go. If it brings you joy, count the blessings of it.
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
