It becomes time to spur one another on in life. Sharing hope of our own stories and victories. The things God has already done for us and moving pass regrets and failures. New beginnings means just that, a brand new start.
Hebrews 10:23-25 New International Version (NIV)
23 Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. 24 And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, 25 not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
Unswervingly means: steadily
We can often look at a strong person in God and not realize that they need our prayers too. Even the strong go through things and nobody knows that depth but God. Inside each of our brains our thoughts and real life happens. Jeremiah 29:11 says that God has a plan, a promise and a future too, but we must line our lives up to God's word. Holding tight to the hope and knowing God is able is important. There are things that suddenly happen and we turn to God in prayer.
Let us remember to turn to God in praise daily too. I think of how a real friendship begins and grows. We start off in small conversations and they grow as we connect with a friend. That friendship can turn into a best friendship and we count on that person. I find that my friendship with God is that same type of friendship. When I first began to pray, I said a few words. As time went on, I learn that prayer is simply talking to God. Along with talking to him, I learned to give praise to him. I sometimes take things for granted and I need to give thanks for the small things too.
Lfie is so short and we just don't know what our time is gone here. I realized that on September 18th of last year. I think about my heart attack often and realize that I was given another chance for a reason. I give God thanks everyday now and I do my best daily. My best isn't always good because I do frustrate some people. That's just the truth. Even the strong needs someone to pray, message them a positive word and hold on for them. We are connected for purpose.
The bible says: Spur one another on.
That's good advice for each us. Life isn't always about you, but others. Yet, God wants us to take time and talk to him. Sharing real life in hope and shining with the love of God is what I try to do daily. The Bible also says:
Galatians 6:9 New International Version (NIV)
Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
The year 2020 will be greater than last year. Purpose positive things in your thoughts and actions. You will reap a harvest of things planted in 2019. We just can't give up but remember their is a real enemy of our soul that tries to distract us. Talking to God daily, brings your closer to him and reading the Bible, brings you knowledge of his plan. Your important, your life is purposed and greater is ahead.
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
