GOD HAS PLAN?
Do you ever wonder why God allows you to go through somethings of life? I certainly have and although I was very thankful for Cabo and our live, I was even more thankful to get home. It somehow made my trip full of nerves and not really relaxing after that. It was only our second day into this trip. Looking back, God gave us a testimony of his power for sure.
Proverbs 3:5-6 New International Version (NIV)
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
6 in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight.
Sometimes we must trust the process of things. Try not to over think a situation and give thanks in a new day. Sometimes that is very hard and we want to understand the why of something. There is a poem which talks about Jesus carrying us in the sand. It's called, "Footprints". We need God and we need to trust him. I have seen miracles in my life and I am one who believe big for others. I remember a time that I got my head split open. My mom called the Pastor of the church and him plus his wife came to pray. They prayed the prayer of faith and that evening, my mom and dad saw a thin line on my head. She got a wet rag and it completely disappeared. My dad wasn't a believer at that point, but he saw this miracle. It was something they talked about and it started him thinking about God more.
Stories and examples help us in life. It gives hope and encouragement to those who wait on their miracle. I was talking to my nephew about his condition of health. He is only 36 and faces such a hard thing and the big wonder of why. He told me that he trust God, but he doesn't get why this is happening. He could out he has Parkinson's Disease. I don't know why and I struggle with the thought too. Yet, I know God is able to turn a doctor's report and I will hold on for him in this. Believing a miracle of health.
THOUGHTS ~
I know that thoughts can travel a million miles without you leaving a chair. Thoughts are powerful and the Bible says that life and death are in the tongue. Such a power member of your body and God knew it. Choose life words everyday!
Proverbs 18:21 New International Version (NIV)
The tongue has the power of life and death,
and those who love it will eat its fruit.
GOD IS ABLE ~
This will be a good day. I will face this day with hope, strength, encouragement, wisdom, knowledge, and all good things. I choose to live by faith and encourage myself to press forward. Each day is better than yesterday because I have another chance to do it better. I choose to see what I do have in life and how much God truly loves me. Even in the things I don't understand, I will leave it with God and allow him freedom to help me. I don't know it all and I've been through enough to trust God in all things.
If you have seen a miracle, leave me a comment please. It will encourage someone else too. God has done so much for my family. My husband got a miracle when he fell over 40 feet from a construction site. My son got a miracle the day the doctor gave him 3 days to live when he was 2 years old. My daughter has received miracles. God gave Ashley (mom of Girls) miracle in birth of Brookley. God is good to my family and I can never thank him enough. God continues to do miracle in all of our lives, just in different ways.
My prayers continue for the readers of my blog, your family and friends.
