1 John 4:9-11 New International Version (NIV)
This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. 10 This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved usand sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. 11 Dear friends, since God so loved us,we also ought to love one another.
SOMETHING I READ ~
THIS IS LOVE
God speaks throughout the Bible and guides so gently. It becomes hard to love some people in our lives. Maybe things they have done to do or words spoken that were harsh. Yet, God's word speaks of love and how we are to love one another. I believe our lives are turned around after we give our hearts to God. We view things different and learn to let go of things. I continue to read on and saw this:
Exodus 20 New International Version (NIV)
The Ten Commandments
20 And God spoke all these words:
2 “I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.
3 “You shall have no other gods before me.
You can continue reading the ten commandments found in Exodus 20 but I wanted to focus on God saying this: "I am the Lord your God, who brought you out........."
Wow God does bring us out of sin and creates a new beginning for us. He forgets and never reminds us of that sin again. A new beginning and peace enters our lives. A change happens and it becomes a daily walk and talk with God. A prayer time of praise, seeking God and taking on his character. Something amazing happens and our hearts become lighter. Let us never forget what God has already done in our lives.
God's word supplies hope for a new day. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me! Positive thoughts leads to positive action! I realize that each of us are going through different seasons of life. Some are younger than me and some of you are older than me. I have learned from all ages of people and find myself each day ready to learn more. Life is short and we must realize our own actions brings change in lives. Our own attitudes can change negative situation into a positive one. Let us remember who created us and who we run to in all times, GOD!
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
