SEE THE BIGGER PICTURE ~

Picture
The little girl inside of me, looks into the mirror to see a strong woman.  I have grown into believing in who God has created me to be in life.  I've made mistakes and had many heart breaks of things.  I read that God will give the desires of our hearts and yet it often comes in ways I least expect it.  Sometimes we must let go of somethings we truly wanted and allow God freedom to move his way.  It doesn't mean it won't happen, it just means things can come to us in different way that we thought.

Proverbs 3:5-6 New International Version (NIV)

5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart
    and lean not on your own understanding;
6 in all your ways submit to him,
    and he will make your paths straight.

SEE THE BIGGER PICTURE ~
Believe in yourself and hold onto God's promises

Proverbs 16:9 English Standard Version (ESV)The heart of man plans his way,
    but the Lord establishes his steps.

For example:  Years ago we sold our house in Pinole CA and moved across the bridge to a city called Vallejo.  Then the part of the city we lived in, would change it's name to American Canyon.  It would later be called the gateway to Napa Valley.  There wasn't much here when we moved here but now it's a regular city of busyness.  I couldn't see the bigger picture of life moving from the house I loved.  I became angry and I wanted to have my kids grow up in Pinole.  I can see how the move changed our lives.  We met people who we would have never met.  Later we joined a church in Napa and became a part of a bigger community of people.  My husband and I are part of the Leadership there and love it.  My point is this, had we never moved, we probably would have never found this church or the people who are in our lives now.  Change happens and sometimes that change is good, even in the hard part of it.

How about you?  Have you ever had to make a change and later saw the bigger picture of why?  I know people who have called their wedding off and made the right choice.  People who have sold their house to find the perfect house later.  Each of us have our own desires of life and others just wish they had what we have.  Do we always want the next best thing or can we be happy in the land where we live?  I look into the mirror of life and find things I never wanted to happen.  Then I can look again and see I do have everything I ever wanted in life.  I wanted a husband plus kids, but I have grandkids now which melt my heart.  I am blessed beyond words and that doesn't matter where I live but where I am.  Even i my sick days, I do my best to be part of things my family or friends want.  I just love being a part of their lives.

WHAT DO I SEE ~
I see that God has brought me from a broken place of life to live again!  That might not make sense to you, but totally sense to me.  I started this blog youdontevenknow because of negative words that were said to me.  Had I listen to other people, I would live broken and never reach out again.  I made a different choice to allow God to use my life, my brokenness would be healed and I would see that God restored my life.  I am a better person because of all the uglies of my life.  Never allow people to define you.  Let me say that again:  NEVER LET PEOPLE TO DEFINE YOU in a NEGATIVE WAY!

You are a overcomer of all things and God creates you to see the stronger you inside of you.  God gave us a new day and I love that.  I get excited when I see that morning has come.

Psalm 30:1-5
 New International Version (NIV)

A psalm. A song. For the dedication of the temple. Of David.1 I will exalt you, Lord,
    for you lifted me out of the depths
    and did not let my enemies gloat over me.
2 Lord my God, I called to you for help,
    and you healed me.
3 You, Lord, brought me up from the realm of the dead;
    you spared me from going down to the pit.
4 Sing the praises of the Lord, you his faithful people;
    praise his holy name.
5 For his anger lasts only a moment,
    but his favor lasts a lifetime;
weeping may stay for the night,
    but rejoicing comes in the morning.

David new that rejoicing (JOY) comes in the
morning!  My prayers continue for you, your family and friends. Purpose this a good day!
