Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 New International Version
A Time for Everything
There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under the heavens:
2 a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
3 a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
4 a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
5 a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,
6 a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
7 a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
8 a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.
SEASONS CHANGE ~
After reading the above verses, I can see that there is a flip side to things. The Bible says that there is a time for every activity under Heaven. I have found God faithful in all seasons of life. Yesterday, I wrote about a tree and being rooted in God's word. It's so important the way we view things and the things we think about. Learning the instructions given by God and our own choices make such a big difference.
Colossians 4:2-6 New International Version (NIV)
Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. 3 And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mysteryof Christ, for which I am in chains. 4 Pray that I may proclaim it clearly, as I should.5 Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity. 6 Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.
FULL OF GRACE ~
Never let a season change to become bitter.
I wanted to share today about changes. In my own life, I have went through so many things. I have learned to live in the moment of life and not expect too much. When we put expectations on others, we can get let down. Loving people unconditionally and letting God guide our lives. I was told in High School by a teacher, if you make one real friend in life you are blessed. I didn't realize that statement because I had many friends. I found out later that the teacher was right. People come into our lives in seasons, we can grow from some and then they move on. Things change and we want the old days back at times, yet the tree has changed colors because of a reason. Each season changes us and hopefully into a better person. We can learn from others and take on the good from them. I also have more than one real friend who stays in my life. I am a bless woman for sure.
BE WISE ~
Let different seasons grow you into a better person
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
