1 I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart;
I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.
2 I will be glad and rejoice in you;
I will sing the praises of your name, O Most High.
SAY THANK YOU ~
With all my heart, I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.
I have found the Lord to be faithful. There are times when we just don't understand his plan. Why did this happen or that happen. God carries us when we just can't' seem to breathe or walk through a situation. Have you ever read the poem footprints?
FOOTPRINTS IN THE SAND POEM ~ I am NOT the author of this poem. The dictionary says there are a few people who say they wrote it. I wanted to share it because it's a powerful reminder of God.
POEM:
One night I dreamed a dream.
As I was walking along the beach with my Lord.
Across the dark sky flashed scenes from my life.
For each scene, I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,
One belonging to me and one to my Lord.
After the last scene of my life flashed before me,
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.
I noticed that at many times along the path of my life,
especially at the very lowest and saddest times,
there was only one set of footprints.
This really troubled me, so I asked the Lord about it.
"Lord, you said once I decided to follow you,
You'd walk with me all the way.
But I noticed that during the saddest and most troublesome times of my life,
there was only one set of footprints.
I don't understand why, when I needed You the most, You would leave me."
He whispered, "My precious child, I love you and will never leave you
Never, ever, during your trials and testings.
When you saw only one set of footprints,
It was then that I carried you."
SAY THANK YOU ~
One set of footprints
God, we don't always understand your plan for our lives, family or friends. Things happen to each of us that doesn't make sense at times of life. As I grow older, I see how you carried me through the hardest things of life. I find you faithful and right there for me. I am asking right now for the readers of my blog, their families and friends. Help them in times of unbelief and carry them when they just don't handle one more thing. I thank you for your amazing power, love and help. As Thanksgiving approaches, let us count blessings of what our lives already have. Help those that needs a miracle of health and the process of healing is a bit too hard. Maybe some have gotten the worse doctor's report ever and they need you now. Let your power be real to them and send someone across their path of life to encourage them this day. Help those going through divorce, new beginnings and the stress of the holidays can bring. Let us learn to rest in you God in all things and know you are greater than what we face that is hard. Giving you praise today for answered prayers and even some unanswered prayers this day. AMEN
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
