Isaiah 40:31 New International Version (NIV)
but those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.
REWIND ~ HOW?
Soar on the wings like eagles
It's time to rewind your thoughts. I speak often of how we need to apply right words to ourselves. Often people have put us down or we feel as if we were not qualified to do something. God see's far more in our lives than we might see. Look up and know that you can soar on the wings like eagles. The verse above speaks of we can run and not grow weary, walk and not be faint. It takes a determined mind to keep showing kindness and doing the right thing in life.
In asking how can you rewind, There is no rewind button on life, but there is a new beginning that can happen. The Bible also speaks of casting away things in life. Just getting rid of thoughts you don't need. I was in class last night and I spoke about times we can choose to let go of what we can change and embrace other things. God has empowered us with words from the Bible to live by and ways of knowing God is there for us. Our second chance of asking forgiveness of sins is available for each of us. I'm made lots of mistakes in my lifetime and sure I have moments of wish that never happened. Yet, I can not dwell on those times or it saps us.
REWIND ~ Maybe yes
Maybe we should rewind life enough to see ourselves the way God does. There are many changes that happens over a time. One is to grow in the knowledge and Jesus came for a reason. He died and gave us an opportunity to live in freedom with God. I realize there are days that don't seem so good and we must deal with hard things, but we aren't alone in life. Look around you and see how far God has brought your life.
We can read a good book and get something different out of it. Reading and learning is important. As we gather last night in our women's class, we saw how we can learn from each other. We can also see how someone else's life was lived. We each come from a needing place of Jesus in our lives and freedom in our new days. So yes, rewind enough to see how God loves you and how important you are in this life. Your example goes further than might you realize.
John 3:16-17 New International Version (NIV)For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
Purpose this a good day and positive thoughts. My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
