Jeremiah 29:11 New International Version (NIV)
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
RESTORE HEALTH ~
As I sat in a class yesterday hearing about heart attacks, I realized I needed to realize my body went through a big adjustment. Not only was my heart attacked, but it took some of my strength. I found myself weak and needing to learn more on why this happened. This class was a 3 hour class at Kaiser and in the room was others who had a heart attack too. Learning is important and always changing habits of life. The nurse presented a statement of asking why did this happen to me? She said many of you asked this and I'm hear to explain. The cholesterol adds us in your body but some of it is just hereditary and that's why you should get your cholesterol checked. Medication is not a bad thing but a way to help our bodies to live.
In taking this class, I thought about how God gives us the Bible fore life too. It is roadmap to health but also a way to live on earth. Doing what is right, is just right. Jesus went about his father's business on earth and helped others. God gave him a life to show God's power through him. We are no different in many ways. God has given us life for purpose. Each of us was created on a certain day and with a certain plan for God. He gives us free will and we can make our own choices. As I heard others speak within this class, many smoked up to the point of their heart attack. Others choose to continue to smoke. I have never smoked and it happen to me. Our bodies process different and we should never compare our lives to others. Can we admire someone or want to be like them? Yes, being like them is a positive way is good and yet you still have a life to live for yourself.
For example: I love the Jesus I see in some people. There walk of life is real an their example shines for God. You just know that when they pray, it happens. They have decided to follow Jesus with all their hearts and learn of his ways. Not just learn, but be that example to others.
Jeremiah 17:14 New International Version (NIV)
Heal me, Lord, and I will be healed;
save me and I will be saved,
for you are the one I praise.
