All of us was not trained up in the word of God, but we can train our minds to a new normal. A normal of trusting God and a way out of sin. A normal of speaking life words over ourselves and living daily the best we can doing what is right.
As a new Christian, we must be careful and learn quickly of the ways of God. Be around those who are Christian and can help us find scripture. The Bible is a roadmap to Heaven that is beside us and offered to us. The word is freely given and we only need to ask forgiveness of sin and watch things turn around.
I was listening to a DVD series titled "Esther by Beth Moore". She is a powerful woman of God and she spoke about telling your story. The structure to your story and the outcome you next expected. Just remember that things will not always turn out like you think. God takes our story and turns it into a testimony of love. As I sat there listening, my eyes began to cry. I could totally see God's plan at work in my life.
The past is the past and can hold power to our brains. We can use that power of thought to become a super hero in God and letting go of things we can change. It is simply about change the things I can. One example:
I had to take responsibility of mistakes in my life and move forward. I might not have been trained from birth about God, but since that time I've learned many great things. I know without a doubt that JESUS LOVES ME. Opening the Bible is giving myself permission to grow and learn of God daily. It also plants hope within my heart and my thoughts. Each of us make mistakes and grow in different directions of life. Each year can bring us closer to God's plant or we can drop it and miss out on so much. I would not be who I am today without loosing somethings and gaining others.
A process of change and responsibility mixed together, brings JOY!
My prayers continue for the readers of my blog, your family and friends. I thank you for your time and your life. I am certainly not saying things will always be easy when you surrender your heart to God, but it does allow you freedom to think different, plus so much more! Purpose this a good day and go with knowing you are important, your thoughts matter and you have a new day.
