Psalm 105 (NIV)
1 Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name;
make known among the nations what he has done.
2 Sing to him, sing praise to him;
tell of all his wonderful acts.
3 Glory in his holy name;
let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice.
4 Look to the Lord and his strength;
seek his face always.
5 Remember the wonders he has done,
his miracles, and the judgments he pronounced,
6 you his servants, the descendants of Abraham,
his chosen ones, the children of Jacob.
7 He is the Lord our God;
his judgments are in all the earth.
8 He remembers his covenant forever,
the promise he made, for a thousand generations,
9 the covenant he made with Abraham,
the oath he swore to Isaac.
10 He confirmed it to Jacob as a decree,
to Israel as an everlasting covenant:
11 “To you I will give the land of Canaan
as the portion you will inherit.”
REMEMBER WHEN ~
You decided to call upon the name of the Lord and he answered? I will always remember when God open my heart to new beginnings. My life had taken roads I never thought I would travel and needed the joy of the Lord to become my strength. I needed to cast down my own thoughts and grab onto his word (Bible) and his promises.
There are so many stories within the Bible of lives gone before us. We can learn from their stories and grow into stronger people. We can look around us today and see the opportunities we have in this life. We can be thankful for a light switch that gives us light. Running water within our homes. Indoor plumbing my friends and so much. When you might think it's not a good day, it's always a good day with all the things we take for granted. Let us turn our thoughts to God today and remember this, God has created you for purpose and it's time to thank him for the things he has already done.
As this new day begins, let us remember to pray for one another. My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
