REAP IN JOY ~
Galatians 6:7-9 New International Version (NIV)
Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. 8 Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. 9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
REAP IN JOY ~
We are made different on purpose. Each of us have our own mission of life to carry on. I choose to live in the joy of the Lord and reap in joy too. We are the body of the Christ and each one has a part of it.
1 Corinthians 12:27-31 New International Version (NIV)
Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it. 28 And God has placed in the church first of all apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healing, of helping, of guidance, and of different kinds of tongues. 29 Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Do all work miracles? 30 Do all have gifts of healing? Do all speak in tongues? Do all interpret? 31 Now eagerly desire the greater gifts. Love Is Indispensable And yet I will show you the most excellent way.
I have one more scripture to share today:
Psalm 28:7 King James Version (KJV)
The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.
Life can be hard and we deal with different things daily. Leaning on the Lord is simply your choice and my choice. I count blessings of life while going through some deep stuff. God continues to be my shield and I know the he will help me. I know that keeping a song of praise is a must for me. Only you know what is behind the scenes of your life. It might look like a picture perfect life to others and yet you deal with emotions, feelings and circumstances of life. Never want to be someone else because you just never know what one person truly goes through in life. I like being me, even through the hard stuff. I have learned to trust the Lord and watch him come through for me. Prayer makes a difference and never forget that.
Proverbs 17:22 English Standard Version (ESV)
22 A joyful heart is good medicine,
but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.
I think about how a joyful heart is good medicine. Medicine taken can be a process of time before you see results. Taking medicine everyday, you start to feel better after a few days. How about we take the word of God daily and allow it help us feel better now. See the blessings around you and let your heart become joyful over all you do have in life. After all, God's plan is for you to prosper and be in health as your soul prospers ~ 3 John 1:2
You have many choices and decisions to make this day. Purpose good ones and keep a joyful heart. My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
