John 3:16 New International Version (NIV)
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
HOLD ON ~ God gave his son for you and me. He knew there would be challenging times and he would help us see things different. Looking through the eyes of hope brings hope. Looking through the eyes of faith, takes a step into the unknown but believing big. Somethings in life just hurts and we can't change that. Disappointments of things we wish we had done in life or wish we had. When does a new beginning really happen? It happens when we decide our decisions matter today.
Yesterday is gone and there is nothing I can do about things I wished I had done. I call upon hope for my today and hope I see things the way God does. I challenge myself to become a better person. I see what one person has in life and wish I had one of what they had. Have you ever been there? I know people who have more than one car, more than one house, a child, a dog, a cat, a bunny and there are people who wished they just had one! Just one God, why not me who can have just one? I hear it a lot and the big wonder of why sets in. Then I realize, maybe I had planned my money different I could have just one material things. Maybe I just need to begin today, but what about the one one child someone wants? It's hard not to question God on somethings my friends, but we are to trust God.
I looked into the eyes of a man yesterday at Church who had just lost a baby. It was Father's Day and his baby rest in heaven. I told him I cared and was praying for him. It doesn't take away the wonder or pain, but it is nice to know that people care. On Father's Day at our church they had dad's stand up who had just had a baby and dad's who had the most babies. I looked over and saw my friend's face who just wanted his baby to live. Yet, this man trust the lord. Somethings my friends, we might never understand the why of in life. Pray for people who truly want just one. Just one house, just one car, just one child, and just one moment with God that helps them in their today.
TRUSTING GOD ~
Lean not to your own understanding the Bible says:
Proverbs 3:5-6 New International Version (NIV)
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
6 in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight.
READ IT AGAIN ~ TRUST THE LORD WITH ALL YOUR HEART
As I write today, I don't understand somethings of God, but I trust him. I gave him my heart, my mind and my soul. I try hard not to question somethings and I love how God knows the intent of our hearts. I want to grow and learn more. I want my actions to live is word and not just quote it. I learn to let go of somethings in life. I try hard not to compare my life and live in mine!
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends. I value your time and thank you for reading and planting some hope in your life today. Don't give up on the desires of your heart, because God is a big God and change your world suddenly. Read it again, God will give you the desires of your heart!
Psalm 37:4 English Standard Version (ESV)
4 Delight yourself in the Lord,
and he will give you the desires of your heart.
Purpose this a good day!
