Romans 15:7-17 New International Version (NIV)
7 Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God. 8 For I tell you that Christ has become a servant of the Jews on behalf of God’s truth, so that the promises made to the patriarchs might be confirmed 9 and, moreover, that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy. As it is written:
“Therefore I will praise you among the Gentiles;
I will sing the praises of your name.”
10 Again, it says,
“Rejoice, you Gentiles, with his people.”
11 And again,
“Praise the Lord, all you Gentiles;
let all the peoples extol him.”
12 And again, Isaiah says,
“The Root of Jesse will spring up,
one who will arise to rule over the nations;
in him the Gentiles will hope.”
13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
REACH OUT ~
Have you ever spoke to someone about God and told a story of your own life? I have and I see the importance of someone else who needs by story to press forward. I was only a teenager when I was filled with anger from my dad's sudden death. I didn't understand life and death as a kid or teenager. I can't even say I totally understood as an adult. What I can I say, if God's word began to unfold into my life and I saw how things will happen. Good things and hard things of life mold us into a better person or bitter person. It's time that we allow God to mold us into better people.
Living his word can be hard at times, but having others around us to spur us on, sure does help. I am glad to others pray for me and I can pray for others too. Prayer changed things, which changes you. Daily, I pray for the readers of my blog, your family and friends. Purpose this a good day!
