James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ,
To the twelve tribes scattered among the nations:
Trials and Temptations
2 Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds,3 because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. 4 Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. 5 If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. 6 But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. 7 That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. 8 Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do.
The Bible says that the joy of the Lord is your strength. Resting in him and knowing that through it all, God is faithful. Why do we count it all joy when faced with things? Read on....

PURE JOY ~ Perseverance
I love that God says to believe and not doubt. It's important to know what you believe and know the word of God. God is the beginning and the end of all things for each of us. He created each of us for a divine purpose and to live life in the fullest of joy. There will be times of stress in our lives, but we know where we can turn.
Psalm 94:19 New International Version (NIV)
When anxiety was great within me,
your consolation brought me joy.
1 Peter 5:7 New International Version (NIV)Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.
PURE JOY ~
Pure joy is living knowing nothing is too big for God. Daily waking up to a new day and casting anything away that stresses you out. Keep your thought pattern alined with God's word and cast those negative things away. When I purpose a good day, that means having God number one in my thoughts. I know he is able to keep me, guide me and keep joy alive within me. Through it all, I have learned to trust the Lord in all things.
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
