Reaching out in prayer is a must at times. God hears the cry of our hearts and yet we face unknown things that suddenly hit us.
Colossians 4:2-6 New Living Translation
An Encouragement for Prayer
2 Devote yourselves to prayer with an alert mind and a thankful heart. 3 Pray for us, too, that God will give us many opportunities to speak about his mysterious plan concerning Christ. That is why I am here in chains. 4 Pray that I will proclaim this message as clearly as I should.
5 Live wisely among those who are not believers, and make the most of every opportunity.6 Let your conversation be gracious and attractive so that you will have the right response for everyone.
One day can bring so much in our lives. We are busy people and might forget the prayers that went up and God answered right on time. There are other times when you pray and you wait. Waiting is not always easy for God to answer a prayer deep inside your heart. The Bible says that God will give you the desires of your heart. Those desires need to be right desires and you pressing forward into doing what is right in life.
I had a great day celebrating my granddaughter (Brookley's) Kindergarten celebration and then I suddenly started feeling bad. I was super sick all night and still sick this morning. I ask for your prayers today for health for me. I wanted to write on my blog today but finding myself weak. I believe in prayer and asking largely for things. I also know that our bodies get sick and we must rest.
Whatever you face today, I'm praying for you (readers of my blog), your family and friends. Keeping this short today but thankful we have a way to God through prayer and praise. I pray your day is a good one.
