Psalm 100 New International Version (NIV)
A psalm. For giving grateful praise.
1 Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth.
2 Worship the Lord with gladness;
come before him with joyful songs.
3 Know that the Lord is God.
It is he who made us, and we are his;
we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving
and his courts with praise;
give thanks to him and praise his name.
5 For the Lord is good and his love endures forever;
his faithfulness continues through all generations.
PRAISE ~
I love verse 4:
Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise
I am reminded of how things can suddenly change. The one thing that needs not to change, is our praise to God or does it. Can we praise more? Through it all, I've learned to trust in God with all my heart. I'm not the same person I was in my younger adult years. I've grown from my own mistakes and learn to let go of what I can't change. I have also learned to change the things I can. People grow together and people grow apart. Live changes and in those changes, God remains the same.
I believe it's good to read Psalm 100 over and over. Putting on praise and developing a positive attitude each day of life. That doesn't mean that there won't be days of being sad or alone, but days that we still remind ourselves of the good things. Even through death of our loved ones, God is still faithful. God has told us that there is a time for all things. I can't believe I've been in so much heartbreak in life. It has helped me in writing you and knowing that God is faithful, but my attitude is very important. I've seen to many miracles to doubt the power of God. It becomes a mindset to praise God through it all.
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
