Proverbs 18:21 New International Version (NIV)
The tongue has the power of life and death,
and those who love it will eat its fruit.
God tells us to put on the full armor of God. We should do this daily but we might forget the power behind words and actions. I wanted to share the full armor again and hopefully you will do this today and know that God is able to keep us in peace of mind, guard our hearts and live in purpose.
Ephesians 6:10-18 New International Version (NIV)
The Armor of God
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.
POWER IN THE TONGUE ~
Speak life words, kind words and be a good example
Daily, I hear of stories of prayer request, praise reports and lives starting over. I had this thing with my granddaughters if we get frustrated with each other, we stop and say this: let's start this day over. It works and smiles comes on all our faces. Words are important and put with actions means so much. Daily we are teachers, leaders, and examples to others. We are mostly an example to the person looking back at your in the mirror. How will you live this day? How do you think of yourself? How can you make this day better? Purpose good thoughts, actions and do things with a heart of good intentions. Life is short and things suddenly happen.
I do care about the readers of my blog, your family and friends. My prayers continue for each and I know one day can be super hard or super good. Maybe a mixture of both calling it bitter sweet at times. People leave earth, people move away and new beginnings happens. Our normals become not normal and no matter what your age, you must deal with it. Deal with it with a good attitude and just do your best.
I have several personal prayer request for my friends. Chris Conlee, Hameed, Terry, Christine, Darcy, Beverly, Sonia, and some I just can't name right now. Pray with me that God answers the cry of my heart for my friends. I join with you for yours too. Miracles need to happen and only God can do somethings. I believe BIG and will hold on for yours too. Purpose this a good day and count blessings.
