Psalm 134:2 New International Version (NIV)
Lift up your hands in the sanctuary
and praise the Lord.
RAISE YOUR HAND ~
We are taught to raise our hands if we want a voice. Waiting until we are picked before we speak. It begins at home, in school, in church and the list goes on. I found in church I like to raise my hands to praise God. Not really to say pick me, but give thanks for all he has done for me. I know that God is there and has already picked me plus you.
Psalm 139:13-16 New International Version (NIV)
For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.
15 My frame was not hidden from you
when I was made in the secret place,
when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.
16 Your eyes saw my unformed body;
all the days ordained for me were written in your book
before one of them came to be.
God not only picked you, but he created you. He formed you into being and gave you free will to make decisions. Decisions to believe in him or not. Decisions to keep the faith or not. Decisions to press forward into his plan or pull away. So many decisions are made in one day. I find that God often gets blamed for things he never did. It was our own free will that took us down roads of stress and people blame God.
PICK ME ~ Right thinking is knowing who you are today. You have came through obstacles of life and survived. Your heart may have been broken and the big wonder of why happens. Maybe a loved one left earth and it's just hard to breath. A loss of job, house, car, animal, friend and the list goes on. There are many reasons we feel alone, loss, not worthy enough, mad, stressed and the list goes on. Yet, God waits to say to you "PICK ME". If you choose God's ways, you find a peace in the midst of it all. I've experienced much over my life time and continue to learn.
GOD WANTS YOU TO PICK HIM:
Philippians 4:7 English Standard Version (ESV)
And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
