Giving thanks to God because during change, we can grow into a better person. I'm not who I was as a kid, but have grown through days. Still I find that little girl inside of me wanting connections with others. Someone to hang out with, share life with and communicate with about stuff. Just ordinary stuff that girls and guys go through in life.
Luke 6:31 New International Version (NIV)
Do to others as you would have them do to you.
Friendships in the Bible: Ruth and Naomi, Moses and Aaron, Jonathan and David are just a few to mention. God connected lives in the Bible and he continues to connect lives here. We build friendships and some last a life time, while others experiences change. My husband (Terry) had a best friend and at 25 years old, he was killed in a car accident. Ever since that, Terry has not grown to close to people. He worked a lot and found it hard to have time to share with anyone. He sacrficed for our family and came home very tired. Working a full day of work and often times lots of work traffic. I never want to forget his sacrifices of 30 years of construction work. I see what he did and grateful.
Do you see what you gave up for someone else? Time is precious and not everyone appreciates what we do in life. There is one who appreciate your time and he is called Jesus. He knows the desires of your heart and is working on that for you. Never doubt the power of God and somethings change needs to happen to bring God's best to you.
Psalm 37:4 New International Version (NIV)
Take delight in the Lord,
and he will give you the desires of your heart.
We are suppose to change. Change into a person who lives according to the Bible. Change according to the way you think. Our action can speak louder than our words. We are to love God with all our hearts and love others.
Mark 12:30-31 New International Version (NIV)
Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ 31 The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.”
Into a better person and not bitter
There are so many words within the Bible that we can learn from in life. Growing daily and seeing how you can handle things different. I spent a lot of time point fingers at someone else, while I need to see the fingers pointing back at me. When I took responsibility of making some wrong choices and my own bad attitude in younger years, I began to change. Little by little I could feel God drawing me to a path I never thought I would be on. I never thought I would teach or lead others, but here I am.
My life has become an example and it's because I changed. I had to let go of what I could not change and change the things I could. That meant going some tears because I didn't want somethings to change. Friendships change and people move away. You plan on that friendship not changing but sometimes it does because of distance. Friends enter Heaven way to soon and life changes again. There are so many ways of change, but make sure you connect with those that God gave you often. Don't forget that life is just better with a friend name Jesus.
develop friendships with people who bring out the best in you and you bring out the best in them.
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
