He says, “Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth.”
PEACE ~
Living in peace of mind is a choice. Just knowing that God is God and he is able to take care of you each day of life. Trusting beyond a human understanding and leaning to him. I don't understand the why of everything, but I've learned to trust the Lord. I have also learned to live in peace, because I know things are going to happen. I heard it is mind over matter, but yet a trusting over matter. Knowing God said to be still and know that I am God. That's a huge statement and brings life to my mind.
John 16:33 New International Version (NIV)
“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
Colossians 3:15-17 New International Version (NIV)
15 Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. 16 Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts. 17 And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
There will be anxiety and stress in life. Pray for peace of mind. Hold tight to scriptures of hope and know that God is able to calm your soul. We are living in times of change right now. The virus has hit our world and States are shut down. Living in our homes and shelter in place notice. Many can not go to a store because of health issues and not getting the virus. Sheltered at home alone or away from family plus friends. So much stress but we can live in the peace of knowing there is hope. Hope in a new day that brings another day closer to freedom again. Sure life will change, but hope is alive. God is still God and will help us in a new day. Choose peace of mind, choose to rest in God and I choose to sends encouragement to you today. Recall some miracles or good things God has already done in life.
This picture above is one of my granddaughters looking into the water of our church. A fountain of peace is what I see. A place I miss, but know that God continues to shine inside of me. When my daughter and her daughter arrive at church, Averie runs to this foundation too. I sure miss seeing my granddaughters look over this fountain and I miss our church. One day closer to going back again.
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
