The Beginning
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.
3 And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. 4 God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day.
PEACE OF MIND ~
A God who created the first day and everyday after.
Isaiah 26:3 talks about our minds. God will keep us in perfect peace as our minds stays on him because we trust him. Trust is a major factor in life. Think about it, when we break trust with someone, it takes time to build it back or it may not happen at all. God is always there and knows we will make mistakes and need to begin again. It is the beginning that we learn from past things of life. We can also see how some people are not the best to hang around. In my younger years, I was looking for friendship and it was hard to find real friends. I began to pray for God to send real friends into my life that cared about me too. He did that and some of those friends are still my friends.
Just as God created one day, he continues to create days for us. In each new day, we can count blessings of yesterday and press into a new day with a good mindset. The Bible says:
Romans 12:1-2 New International Version (NIV)
A Living Sacrifice
Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. 2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
I have been speaking about miracles lately. It's because I know several people who need a miracle in their lives. Some is for health, financial and peace. Peace is a great feeling inside of us. Trusting God and peace of mind goes a long way. I know when I stop and just say I trust you Lord, things change. How about you? Do you trust God in all situations of life and know he is able to handle your day, plus your life? Giving our hearts to God and asking forgiveness of sin is our beginning. Searching our hearts and allow God freedom to mold us is another step. I am not saying it's easy to trust the Lord in hard times, but it's all I know to do. My faith rises and the outcome is going to be okay.
PEACE OF MIND ~
Surround yourself around people who believe God can. God connects our lives on purpose. Open the Bible and begin to read scriptures of hope, peace, trust plus so much more. Listen to music that stirs your soul to praise and attend a church that teaches the Bible. Not all churches are healthy churches and I know this from my own experiences. I now attend a health church for over 18 years. If you don't have a home church, try mine if you live close to Napa, CA. Hillside Christian Church 100 Anderson Road, Napa, CA.
