Colossians 3:15-17 New International Version (NIV)
Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. 16 Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts. 17 And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
A calm inside when things around you is crazy hard
I am glad that God gives peace to each of us who believes in him. A peace beyond a human understanding and resting time in him. Just knowing this season can be crazy but God is able to bring peace in the midst of a storm. Oh how life changes over the years. I have seen miracles and I have had much sorrow too. Life can be like a roller coaster with ups and downs.. Sometimes are so exciting and others not so good. I find life better when I stop asking why and start learning how to deal with certain things. Sometimes the why isn't so important anymore, as how to get through it.
There is a young man in my life whom I have known since birth. He recently found out he has Parkinson's disease. He is only 34 years old and still has so many dreams ahead. My heart was sadden as I heard the news and words seemed to fail me. How do you tell you someone that God has plan in this? How unfair is this and why won't God just give him a miracle? Those are my human thoughts and then I turn to prayer. The Bible says to ask, seek and knock. I am so doing this on behalf of this young man. Asking largely and knowing God is able to turn this situation around. But it still leaves the mind with wonder and the why of it all.
Jeremiah 29:11 A plan, A promise and A future is what God says we have in him. Nothing is to big or to small for him to handle. This is where leading not to our own understanding helps. God can give him a miracle of health in a moment's time and I am believing this for him.
How about you? Facing some unknown why's in your life and the big wonder of it all? God is still the God who created this earth, made you and purposed good things on your behalf. Maybe you don't feel the good thing part, but we can always find God is one day. The one day that Jesus saved you and set you free from sins and mess ups in life. A new day brings hope, encouragement to our souls and a readiness to live for God no matter what. Yet, lets me honest, it is hard when we hear a negative doctor's report, someone who has just died, people who move away and new normals are left for us. I have been through each situation and I know that God can brings peace in the midst of it all and bring miracles of new beginnings too.
PEACE I LEAVE YOU ~
God says that nothing is impossible for him ~ Luke 1:37
This day I choose to believe in greater things. I choose to believe in your miracle working power God. I choose to believe that you didn't bring me this far to leave me. I choose to believe that you have the best for the readers of my blog too. We must pursue God with all our hearts, minds and soul. We must hold on when things get back or remain good. It becomes time to stir up some hope in this beautiful new day and allow God's will to handle our now of life.
I realize that summits it's hard to hold on for ourselves, so I'll hold on for the readers of my blog too and ask that you believe big in what you need in life. I have seen God turn things around in a moments time and nobody could explain it. It just got better all of a sudden and the doctor's report was wrong. God can do miracles this day. After all, this is the day that Lord has made. The Bible says to let us rejoice in a new day.
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
