Psalm 1:1-3 New International Version (NIV)
1 Blessed is the one
who does not walk in step with the wicked
or stand in the way that sinners take
or sit in the company of mockers,
2 but whose delight is in the law of the Lord,
and who meditates on his law day and night.
3 That person is like a tree planted by streams of water,
which yields its fruit in season
and whose leaf does not wither--
whatever they do prospers.
Sometimes we must think outside the box.
Isaiah 43:18-19 New International Version (NIV)
18 “Forget the former things;
do not dwell on the past.
19 See, I am doing a new thing!
Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
I am making a way in the wilderness
and streams in the wasteland.
God is doing a new thing and we must purpose to see that. Each day is full of blessings around us, but we might get stuck on all the things God hasn't done for us. Let us not be selfish in life, but look beyond with eyes of faith. We can read stories of how God helped people in the wilderness of life. Maybe we might wonder why he even let them go through hard things, but it's through the hard things that we can God teaching. Purpose this a good day and never forget to count blessings of it.
