REVELATION 1:8 (NIV)
“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.”
OUTSIDE BEAUTY ~
Beauty comes to us in many different ways. I can see clear sky and the mountains in the distance. I know that God created land and he is the beginning to the end. I can feel the hope in a new day and the promises throughout the Bible. I choose to live by faith and not site in all things. It's time to believe big and God is still God in a new day!
Isaiah 61:1-3 (NIV)
The Year of the Lord’s Favor
The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me,
because the Lord has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim freedom for the captives
and release from darkness for the prisoners,
2 to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor
and the day of vengeance of our God,
to comfort all who mourn,
3 and provide for those who grieve in Zion--
to bestow on them a crown of beauty
instead of ashes,
the oil of joy
instead of mourning,
and a garment of praise
instead of a spirit of despair.
They will be called oaks of righteousness,
a planting of the Lord
for the display of his splendor.
It is said that Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Display the splendor of the Lord. Each day goes by super fast and before we know it, we are turning another year old. Look around and see the beauty of a new day. Look around and see yourself stronger than you thought and you can do all things through Christ. Speak words of life to yourself and it spills out to others.
OUTSIDE ~ INSIDE
Inside our hearts there should be peace and a calmness knowing God has this day in his control. He made the sky, the earth and each of us for purpose. God is amazing and I find myself so thankful that God gives second chances in life. Each of us have sinned and needs forgiveness. Not only forgiveness but things not to remember again. God speaks of beauty for ashes and knows we need a brand new day. I realize that sometimes people don't forgive our mistakes, but know this, God does!
God never reminds us of mistakes, but we certainly learn and grow from them. This is the beauty that God gives each of us when we ask forgiveness of sin. Then we are able to look at life different and begin again with hope, promises and leading by God. It all comes down to choices and our determination to change our lives into God's plan. Day by day, moment by moment and each choice matters. Treat yourself good and keep making good choices.
As you press forward into your new day, so does my prayers for you, your family and friends.
