Revelation 3:8 New International Version (NIV)
I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut. I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name.
OPEN DOOR ~
It becomes time to stop making excuses of what you can not do and do what you can.
IT IS HOW YOU VIEW IT ~ OPEN DOOR
Life is short and our example matters. Not only to others but to ourselves. We have so much living in America and we often take things for granted. Who is the one who reminds of you past failures or tells you can't do it? It's not God, because his word says we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us! The is power in the name of Jesus and never forget that.
Open doors means you must walk through it. Walking through it means different things to my brain. God has the power to change any situation of life and yet somethings will not change. Learning to live in his presence brings a calmness to the soul. Just knowing that God has my day planned and my decisions makes a huge difference. I was in class on Wednesday night and Sonia said she was driving to the class and felt to go a different direction. It was a direction she doesn't usually go and down he road was a huge car accident. She avoided the accident by hearing the tug inside your mind to go a different way. We began to talk about the tugs of life. Those tugs are warnings or guidance in our daily lives. Do you follow the tugs of your mind?
OPEN DOOR ~
Freedom of thoughts and accidents
You have the ability to think, rethink, act and react in a good way. Showing kindness to yourself and to others is my modo of life. Even as a small child, I wanted to grow up and teach kindness to kids plus adults. I find myself doing that daily now and I simply love that I connected it back to my childhood. Homelike felt pretty alone as a kid. My only sibling was 5 years old and he (Ronnie) didn't want to play with me. That 5 year span and him being a boy wasn't happening to play dolls. I never remember having a tea party with my mom. So I purpose to have tea parties with my daughter when she was little and now my granddaughters. It's taking time to bring memories into lives of others, but also for myself to enjoy time with them.
As Christmas time approaches, let us learn to give time to others. Maybe your childhood isn't one you want to remember or all the things you feel you missed out on. You can be that person now and put fun into your families lives. Maybe you don't have kids, but you have nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and the list goes on. Enjoy the people who are in your now of life and reach out to someone who feel distant today. Live is about living and livings is about giving and giving is about Jesus.
Freedom in a new day and freedom of thoughts. Go makes this a good day. Please know that my prayers continue for you, your family and friends. Thank you for taking time to read my blog and pass it on. There is someone who needs to know that someone cares and I do, plus God cares. New beginnings happen and those times we learn new normal. Let us not forget that Jesus came for each of us and prayers still get answered.
