Hebrews 10:19-25 New International Version (NIV)
A Call to Persevere in Faith
19 Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, 20 by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, his body, 21 and since we have a great priest over the house of God, 22 let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water.
23 Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. 24 And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, 25 not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
GOD IS POSITIONING YOU ~
Draw near to God with a sincere heart
Each of us was created for a bigger purpose. I think of being a child and remember I said this, "When I grow up, I'm going to be ......". That sentence changed many times throughout my life. One thing I always wanted to be when I grew up was to be kind. As a child, I would teach my stuff animals that someday I will grow up and teach kindness. I was a child who was bullied and didn't have many friends. I would try and only get laughed at. I volunteer in my granddaughter's classroom and see how children can be so kind in Kindergarten and Second grade. Yet, on the playground the story becomes a little different. Not every child like to share or say kind words or even want to play with each other. If everyone could only live with a kind attitude.
ONE VOICE ~
My granddaughters tend to look for the child who is alone and try to talk to them. Willow is in kindergarten and there was a new girl coming to class. She took a teddy bear from her collection and gave it to the girl. This made the little girl feel better about being new in class. One act of kindness goes a long way even to a child. I can look back to my childhood and see how God planted the word "KIND" in my heart and it's been my goal to treat others the way I would like to be treated.
GOD POSITIONS US ~
For a greater life and words to live by daily.
To have a Jesus attitude is being determined to do the right thing. Jesus went about doing good things and what God had him do. HIs heart was surrendered to God and his example continues to shine generation to generation. Follow his example the best you can and forgive yourself as mistakes will happen. Keep pressing into the word of God (Bible) and allow God to help guide you in each decision of life. God has set a path before you and you have free will to make decisions. Purpose to do what is right, even when doing what is right is hard.
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
