Daisy are my favorite flower whether it is only one or a bunch. I find beauty in that little flower. Each one stands alone and yet connected to a bunch equals more beauty. Flowers last a season of time and much like our own lives. There are seasons of change in all of our lives, but memories that continue.
Matthew 6:25-34 (NIV)Do Not Worry
25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?
27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life? 28 “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin.
29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith?
31 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
ONE SINGLE FLOWER ~ ONE SINGLE LIFE
God has created each of us to make a difference in this life. How do people know you and what will they remember you for in life? Thoughts that often run through my head and I wonder that. I hope to always leave a positive impression on others. I know I make mistakes and worry at times, but I know that worry is not from God. It's hard not to worry when hard things face you, but God's word speaks of casting all our cares upon him. Leaving us with an open mindset and positive thinking. God is good all the time and it's often us who changes. We never know what one day will bring. Learning to rest in God is so important.
I know that I do not stand alone in life and I only need to reach out to find a friend. I prayed for special connections with friends and it happened. I have many friends who are the best to me and I'm the best to them. You just kinda know how special that one friend (Flower) is in your life. A life of beauty and positive words. We can single out people who make our life better and not bitter. We can single out God who we know is our source of strength and peace. Nothing goes unnoticed by him and he brings out the best in us.
Last night in my class, I had a friend walk up to me and tell me how much she liked my blog. She reads it daily and it brought tears to my eyes. I never knew that and I often wonder what God does with my writing, but I know he uses it. I was so thankful she told me and it was at a moment I needed to hear it. Our words encourages others and never forget your are important!
As today travels forward, count blessings of life. Focus on what is true and positive in your life. Pray for miracles to happen and life changing experiences for the best! My prayers continue for you, your family and friends. Thank you for passing this blog along to your friends and know that I care!
