Philippians 2:9-18 New International Version (NIV)
9 Therefore God exalted him to the highest place
and gave him the name that is above every name,
10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
11 and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.
Do Everything Without Grumbling
12 Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed—not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence—continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling,13 for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose.
14 Do everything without grumbling or arguing, 15 so that you may become blameless and pure, “children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation.” Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky 16 as you hold firmly to the word of life. And then I will be able to boast on the day of Christ that I did not run or labor in vain. 17 But even if I am being poured out like a drink offering on the sacrifice and service coming from your faith, I am glad and rejoice with all of you. 18 So you too should be glad and rejoice with me.
ONE OF THOSE DAYS ~
Think again about what God has done for you
I have heard people complain about the very thing someone else wishes they had. We should be careful the things we complain about or stand in sadness of in life. God is able to restore, heal and bring a healthy mindset to you. He is able to forgive the past and begin again. His word is true and amen. Do you get the picture yet?
Sunday, we celebrated my granddaughter's 9th birthday. A party of her 3rd grade friends and some family. I woke up at 5am and was quite the busy day. Church and getting things ready for the party. A little stress over time and the last minute things needed for her party. I focus on the wrong thing for a bit. The kids loved it and said how lucky she was. It was her first friends from school party. Sometimes what we do is just right and you can see that later. It was a beautiful princess party along with her cousins who received a sword as a prince would. Everyone she invited came and that made her heart happy.
I HAD A DREAM LAST NIGHT ~
I was on a ride much like the one in Alice in Wonderland at Disneyland. It seats a few people. As the ride went through doors, people in the car disappeared one by one. I ended up in the car alone and voices that surrounded me. I felt fear grip my heart and I yelled out to Jesus to help me. A voice said he already tried to help you but you won't let go of words. I knew exactly what this meant. I had to let go of what people said about me. I have played it over for too many years of the negative voices. Once I screamed out to Jesus to help me again in this dream, he did. I went through a door where a little boy stood waiting. His name is Caleb and is our children's pastor's son at my church. He is 6 years old and in a calm voice he said, "jesus is so cool". Then I looked around and saw so many people smiling. It was like I was in the world of peace and no fear. I was at much church and felt love.
Our dreams can carry us places and who knows why. I woke up feeling loved and peace within my heart. That was a great day of knowing I am loved by so many people. It was point of knowing that I affect others lives too. Our example does make a difference.
We go through things in life that does affect us. Sometimes nobody knows about that but God and you. The secrets within us, but there are no secrets from God. Let him change your life and remember who tries to get you to sway you from peace. No weapon formed again you shall prosper the Bible says. My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
