IT IS TIME TO BE ~
STRONG AND COURAGEOUS
Deuteronomy 31:6-8 (NIV)
Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”
7 Then Moses summoned Joshua and said to him in the presence of all Israel, “Be strong and courageous, for you must go with this people into the land that the Lord swore to their ancestors to give them, and you must divide it among them as their inheritance. 8 The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”
A TICK AWAY ~
Just as the clock ticks to a new second, it adds to minutes and the hours. We are taught to live by a clock in life. A time to set an alarm to wake and a time to go to bed to sleep. A time for work, school, shopping, fun, visiting others, sharing life and sadness adds in too. Seasons change and we change over time. Time presents us with young faces and as we grow older, we start to see wrinkles or how much we have changed over time. Time can be the healer of a broken heart too. We learn to process things in life over time.
Life is about living and we must watch a clock. It keeps us on track to get to appointments on time. In all the busyness of one day, let us not forgive to give time to God. To share our lives back with a thankful heart and a life of peace. Our thoughts can run a million miles while sitting in a chair. A chair of thoughts can be good or it can be terribly hard when we replay things. Have you ever noticed the clock doesn't tick backwards. Only in the time of year we set it forward or turn it back, but mostly it ticks forward. Giving ourselves some room to be count blessings and steer away from negative.
Most of the time I am a very positive person. I can wake up from a crazy dream and feel scared inside. It takes me shaking it off, looking into today with hope and knowing I must let go of somethings in life. I weighed myself down with worry and doubt in younger years. The Bibles says:
Philippians 4:6 (NLT)
Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.
Don't waste time on things you can not change. It will drag you down and then you start to feel all those negative thoughts again. Look forward and start changing one thought at a time. See how far God has brought you in life and even this day, change will happen. We look out a window to see the sky different than yesterday. We can how some people have changed over time. Some stay in our lives and some leave us. I heard it said that everything happens for a reason. The reason is God's plan of being born and then a time to go to Heaven. You can read about time and seasons in the book of Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 in the Bible. God's plan unfolds each day and another chance to let go of somethings and grab on tight to other things. Purpose great choices and time with those you care about in life!
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
