I want to tell you a true story and then speak on the power of God doing a new thing!
I have been praying for someone I have known all his life. He is 36 years old and found out he has Parkinson's Disease. A strong young man and he had big dreams. He had to quit his job making great money and now is on disability. A disease that takes over his body and he shakes. I hope you will join with me today and pray a miracle of health for him. I'm not sure if I can say his name at this point but you can pray for the man Sparkie is holding on for. God knows his name.
Parkinson's disease (PD) is a neurodegenerative disorder that affects predominately dopamine-producing (“dopaminergic”) neurons in a specific area of the brain called substantia nigra. Symptoms generally develop slowly over years.
DICTIONARY: Ezekiel 37
The Vision of the Valley of Dry Bones (or The Valley of Dry Bones or The Vision of Dry Bones) is a prophecy in chapter 37 of the Book of Ezekiel.
Ezekiel 37:1-14 New International Version (NIV)
The Valley of Dry Bones
The hand of the Lord was on me, and he brought me out by the Spirit of the Lord and set me in the middle of a valley; it was full of bones. 2 He led me back and forth among them, and I saw a great many bones on the floor of the valley, bones that were very dry. 3 He asked me, “Son of man, can these bones live?”
I said, “Sovereign Lord, you alone know.”
4 Then he said to me, “Prophesy to these bones and say to them, ‘Dry bones, hear the word of the Lord! 5 This is what the Sovereign Lord says to these bones: I will make breath[a] enter you, and you will come to life. 6 I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover you with skin; I will put breath in you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the Lord.’”
7 So I prophesied as I was commanded. And as I was prophesying, there was a noise, a rattling sound, and the bones came together, bone to bone. 8 I looked, and tendons and flesh appeared on them and skin covered them, but there was no breath in them.
9 Then he said to me, “Prophesy to the breath; prophesy, son of man, and say to it, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Come, breath, from the four winds and breathe into these slain, that they may live.’” 10 So I prophesied as he commanded me, and breath entered them; they came to life and stood up on their feet—a vast army.
11 Then he said to me: “Son of man, these bones are the people of Israel. They say, ‘Our bones are dried up and our hope is gone; we are cut off.’ 12 Therefore prophesy and say to them: ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: My people, I am going to open your graves and bring you up from them; I will bring you back to the land of Israel. 13 Then you, my people, will know that I am the Lord, when I open your graves and bring you up from them. 14 I will put my Spirit in you and you will live, and I will settle you in your own land. Then you will know that I the Lord have spoken, and I have done it, declares the Lord.’”
ONE MORE DAY ~ I choose to hold on.....
Speaking to the dry bones in the man I am praying for right now. Asking God to give the readers of my blog miracles they so hold on for too. Nothing is too big for God and we must speak to the things we need in our lives. Sending out hope and resting in the peace of God daily. God's spirit is the same as it was back from the beginning of the Bible. Lives were changed and miracles happened. I've seen miracles of life and I know the power of God. I am sharing this story today because we can speak to illness, jobs needed, lives to be changed, finances and so much more. Don't give up and feel the hope in Ezekiel too. We agree and speak to DRY BONES today to come alive inside of us. Whatever you need today, GOD IS ABLE....
My prayers continue for this young man and for you, your family plus friends.
