13 For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.
ONE LIFE AT A TIME ~
Our lives doesn't reach everyone, but it certainly can affect one life. That one life leads to another life. I see how God has connected me to amazing people who I have learned from in life. I listen closely to stories and see how far God has brought my life. I have posted this picture before of the Starfish and it's a great example of how one Starfish mattered. Each of our lives matter too and God picks us up from mistakes of life to new ground. That new ground is one of new beginnings, hope and the promise of Heaven. Someday we won't walk this earth anymore, but our example can live far after we are gone.
I remember my Aunt Pearl talking to me about life. She taught me that life was precious and we should travel to see the world. I haven't traveled the world much, but I have gone places in life. It was in the waters of Cabo that my life was challenged by a rip tide which turned out to be a tsunami. It wasn't just me, but my complete family and friends. A sudden move by the waters and we ended up being overtaken by them. It was in those waters that I said yes to God. If I had another chance of life, I would do what he had called me to. I knew I was suppose to teach and lead women by his example. I came back that year 2004 and started teaching at my church. I have continued for 15 years now and I feel at peace when I lead/teach. It's my purpose and I know that.
I am not a Starfish, but I believe that others prayed for me in life. Maybe a Grandma I didn't know or family member from generations past. I say this, because I pray for my children, grandchild and generations to come grandchildren. It's part of who I am because I never knew my own grandparents. I choose to be a good grandparent and do my best to lead by example. God has done miracles for our family and I want you to know that. When the doctor's gave a bad report or the waters of Cabo overtook us, God said no I have a plan for them. Here I am today writing you and counting blessings with tears in my eyes. I know the power of God and I know he wants the best for you. A quick surrender of your yes to God, will change your world too.
STARFISH STORY ~
Remember you are important and God has picked you up to place you on a new path with him. It takes time to change our thinking and sometimes actions. God's plan is to help you through all situations of life. Staying firm in faith and trust in him on a daily bases. I can see it now, your life becomes full of blessings, instead of sorrow. Jeremiah 29:11 speaks of his plan, promises and future.
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
