For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.

ONE LIFE MAKES A DIFFERENCE ~
January 20, 2020 is a legal holiday to give honor to Martin Luther King Jr.

Wikipedia writes this:

Martin Luther King Jr. (January 15, 1929 – April 4, 1968) was an American Christian minister and activist who became the most visible spokesperson and leader in the Civil Rights Movement from 1955 until his assassination in 1968.

I help out at my granddaughters school and the kids are taught about his life.  Monday is not just a day off of school, but a day to honor a man who continues to make a difference.  His example is one of being equal and each life makes a difference. He accomplished so much while being alive, but also after his death.  His family lost a great man in there home, while he was trying to make things right.  He continues to be alive in hearts of many.

On this day, let us give honor to him and to each other.  Let our lives be one of making a difference and sharing hope with others.  We are all created by God and made in his image.  We should have equal rights and be able to make positive choices of life.  There is so much change that needs to happen in our country. I believe that one life doing what God has called them to do, makes a huge difference.  It's time to look into a mirror and see yourself stronger than you think.  Maybe braver than you think and do that one thing God has called you to do.  People are waiting on your life too, because each of us makes a difference.  If we could only see ourselves important and God has a plan.

Jeremiah 29:11 A plan, a promise and a future

I thank God for men and women who step into their calling.  Their lives will shine on earth and also after they are gone to heaven.  Their example lives inside hearts and challenges us to become a better person.  You can be this person too.  Living the best life you can daily and sharing God with others.  God is able to handle our now and help us see things his way.  Nobody knows why certain things happen, but in the that happening, I believe God has a plan.

My prayers go out to Martin Luther King Jr family, friends and each of us.  Our prayers matters and purpose this a great day of remembrance and new beginnings too.  God is good to help us in all seasons of life and connect our lives.  I'm so grateful for the readers of my blog too.  We have so much to be grateful for in life!
