Life is a journey of change.  It's nice to know we have a friend.  Someone who will sit with you in times needed and someone who will just listen when we need an ear to hear us.  I am bless to have several people who care about me.  I choose to write daily to you who read my blog and show I care, plus God cares.

Romans 12:9-21 NIV Love in Action
Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good.

10 Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. 11 Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. 12 Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. 13 Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality.

14 Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. 15 Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn. 16 Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited.

17 Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone. 18 If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. 19 Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord.

20 On the contrary:
“If your enemy is hungry, feed him;
    if he is thirsty, give him something to drink.
In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head.”
21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

LOVE IN ACTION ~
God's word speaks it out and it's up to each of us to do our daily best.  Love in action is often harder than it might seem.  Being kind to someone is a choice. I've had people who have hurt me deeply, but I had to let it go.  I've had people who made promises and those promises were broken.  My normal has become not normal over many things and I've learned to go back to the word of God for wisdom.  I challenge myself to become a better person and not a bitter person.  Once again, MY CHOICE!

How about you today?  Do you need to let something go or find that one person who will listen?  So much can happen in one day and I know this by my own journey of life.  I've also seen miracles and divine appointments made by God.  I pray for God connections daily.   I trust the Lord with all my heart and that HE knows best.  The path of life isn't what I thought it would be, but I certainly can count blessings through it all.

Yesterday, I have the privilege to speak to a nurse who was so tired.  Sharing a little hope and my prayers would be with her. I think the greatest things was, I listened to her about her own life and I truly care.  A single mom who works hard all day taking care of sick people, then home to be a single mom and taking care of an aging parent.  She gave me a big hug and finding out she was the age of my daughter.  So much for a young woman and pressing forward by prayer was her answer.

I also spoke to a 84 year old woman who was dealing with her husband recovery in the care home. She was having trouble with her smart phone and spoke out loud. So I decided to try to help her. That began a conversation of life and how hard life is when your 84 and never had to deal with so many new issues alone.  Then her phone rang and she got one answer she needed.  A smile on her face and off she went.

We never know what one person goes through in one day.  Making myself available to listen, changes my world. I feel the hearts of other and I pray right away.  I have another friend name Sonia who is dealing with her dad's fall and broken hip.  Surgery and being available for an aging parent is hard.  Just being young and needing an ear to listen is important as well.  I would ask today that you pray for Sonia and others who deal with just hard things.  Sometimes life can be a bit overwhelming and we might wonder where God is, but he is right there.  That's why we live by faith and not sight.  God help our family and friends who hurt today and help us to lead by example of you!

I'm not sure what you are going through today, but God knows. I care and am praying now for the readers of my blog. As I write this, I know that God is greater than anything. I also know that God's timing is perfect.  It's hard to face somethings, but through the power of the holy spirit, we can rest in knowing God has our lives in his hands.  Purpose this a good day and count those blessings!

I thank God for ONE HUG!
