The Story of Goldilocks and the Three Bear
Once upon a time, there was a little girl named Goldilocks. She went for a walk in the forest. Pretty soon, she came upon a house. She knocked and, when no one answered, she walked right in.
Nothing held Goldilocks back from entering the house. Inside the house, the story continues, but it all started by once upon a time. What has happened in your life that might bring you to once upon a time? As for me, I think of how a little girl wanted to grow up and live to be kind. I didn't like being bullied or teased by people and even a teacher who pointed out my faults in fourth grade. It stuck with me all these years and it brings sadness to my mind. Just a little kid and I actually nicknamed that teacher, "ms miller the killer". She killed my thoughts of being smart, smiling and the ability to raise my hand to participate in class. I was scared of her making fun of me again. Just a little kid who allowed her words to plant wrong thoughts.
ONCE UPON A TIME ~
A teacher didn't understand me and brought much sorrow to my life. I kept replaying words and even many years later, I still think about it at times. I also know that I am not that little kid anymore and what I do for God is so valuable.
Galatians 5:1 King James Version (KJV)
Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.
There is no once upon a time when I heard about Jesus. Jesus came into my mind as a kid and I didn't really know who he was until I was almost 20 years old. A story, but the truth and a man who walked this earth as an example to many then plus continues now. Jesus paid the ultimate price for each of us. Giving us a second chance and hope of freedom with him. It's not just a story in the Bible, but living truth of how you can live for God.
John 3:16-17 New International Version (NIV)
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
My once upon a time story of kindness has come to pass. I treat others, the way I would hope to be treated back. Thinking ahead and doing my best daily to live out the word of God. We have many examples within in the Bible of their yes to God and a positive outcome. I Hope today you will see your life the way God does and live in the freedom of thoughts plus actions of good things. Every new day is a blessing to us and we should see that. Don't take life for granted and it's not a once upon a story time, but your real life story living in God.
Happy new day and my prayers continue for you, your family plus friends. Pray does make a difference and God continues to give the desires of one's heart. Go ahead, purpose this a good day.
