The desires of our hearts, but God!
Psalm 37:4 (NIV)Take delight in the Lord,
and he will give you the desires of your heart.
NOBODY KNOWS ~ BUT GOD ~
Psalm 37:1-7 (NIV)
Of David.
1 Do not fret because of those who are evil
or be envious of those who do wrong;
2 for like the grass they will soon wither,
like green plants they will soon die away.
3 Trust in the Lord and do good;
dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture.
4 Take delight in the Lord,
and he will give you the desires of your heart.
5 Commit your way to the Lord;
trust in him and he will do this:
6 He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn,
your vindication like the noonday sun.
7 Be still before the Lord
and wait patiently for him;
do not fret when people succeed in their ways,
when they carry out their wicked schemes.
In life, we will face death. Each of us experiences something different whether that is a good moment or hard moment. Seasons come and seasons go. God remains the same and there will be times when we need to remind ourselves that God does give the desires of our heart. Change is not always easy, but happens. I understand the circle of life and yet believe outside that circle. God changes our lives and we can live in freedom of mind, soul and being. We might have grown up one way that was hard, but God....yes but God can change up become better people and not bitter.
Commit your way to the Lord ~ Verse 5
That is a true surrender of your ways to God's ways!
I thank God for all the people in my life. Even the people who caused me pain. I realize now that it all mixed together and I am who I am because I haven't quit pressing forward. The words of others can mold us into positive or negative feelings. Emotions can carry us away from God or toward God. Maybe just a mixture of both. We need positive people in our lives. They just seem to have a spark and yet they need someone too. We weren't meant to live this life alone, because God connects people for purpose.
Finding that life is short and what we do in today matters! Purpose it a good day through it all. Yesterday, my daughter (Tracy) felt to share a day helping my husband and I move forward after his mom and my mom (Tracy's two grandmothers) are now in Heaven together. Sharing a day to make us smile and new beginnings. Sometimes we need someone more than we let someone know. They just know and are sent into our lives for more than one reason. The day was filled with memories and new beginnings. I understand that bitter/sweet thing and it good to have people who love us. Our son and granddaughters helped in hanging up new pictures and opening a fun present from the great aunt Tamara. It ended a day with new memories.
There were many others who text us, messaged us and share time on this hard day with us. Thank you for caring readers of my blog for taking time to read this. Plant hope into your hearts today whether you face a good day or hard day. God knows and he cares. I also write because I care and my prayers are with the readers of my blog, your family and friends. I wish I could list all the names of people who yesterday special, but I don't want to leave any name out. I'm glad that God has connected our lives to others. Have a great day!
