Luke 1:78-79 GOD’S WORD Translation (GW)
78 A new day will dawn on us from above
because our God is loving and merciful.
79 He will give light to those who live in the dark
and in death’s shadow.
He will guide us into the way of peace.
PEACE ~
The way of peace is God's way.
There is freedom of sin, mistakes and a new way of life. God's way doesn't always make sense to our brains. We wonder why a lot and we want answers to things that happen to us. I have lived long enough to know there are not always answers to our questions. For example, why does God take some people away from us way to soon? Why does a sickness come upon us and we pray for health? Why did we loose that job? The list goes on with whys, but I can see God faithful through it all. I can see how my own choices affects myself, my family and my friends.
I have chosen he way of God and put him certain of my life. I do my best daily and still can look back to see things I should have done different this past year. I will not live in regrets and neither should you. God opens a brand new day with opportunities for each of us to make difference. Our attitude changes someone else's attitude. I seen that and I see how kind words go way further than harsh ones.
As this new day is here and this 2018 ends, end it will joy. Step into the promises of God and allow him to mold you even more this day. Nobody is perfect and that's a fact. God created you for his plan and live Jeremiah 29:11 A plan, A promise and A future!
Grab onto scriptures of hope and purpose time with those that spur you on in life. Things change and I know that. Living through disappoints but also victories of 2018. This year has been one of mixed emotions for me. The hardest of years ever and yet the blessings of a new baby granddaughter Averie. God spared my daughter's life and I will forever be grateful that she has a daughter now too. God does give the desires of one's heart and I've seen that. Counting blessings of my family, friends and opportunities to meet new ones. If you know me, you know I cherish time with others I care about and I love writing you daily. God has purposed my life to share with my husband, children, grandchildren and you. Thinking over 2018 and seeing so many blessings along with so much change. Nobody said life would be easy, but God did say he would always be there for us.
There is a poem I would like for you to read. It's called "Footprints In The Sand". You can google it and read it today. It talks about a time you thought God wasn't there, but that was the time he carried you. We can't always see God in action, but we must know he lives in us and behind the scenes of our lives. I believe in miracles and I'm holding on for you and your families, friends too. Each of us needs someone to hold for us at times of life. I remember this past year, I called a few friends who I knew would hold on for me through some hard things. Yes, I believed God could, but I need strength my self. Sometimes the strongest person you know needs prayer. We often look at leaders as strong ones, but things happen to strong person too. Just know this, God has brought our lives together through this blog. I value your support, your encouragement and your faithfulness to share my blog with others.
Look today at how far God has brought your life over the years. No matter what your age, we continue to learn, grow and develop with the character of God. His word (Bible) can become alive inside of us with hope, peace, love and all good things. I'm praying today that you see yourself the way God does, strong and courageous by his power. Purpose this a good end of the year and see the blessings in your life.
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
