Whatever happens today,
YOU and GOD can handle this!
GOD HAS THIS ~
Each day is full of surprises in life. Things change suddenly and our plans are interrupted by things we do not plan. You are left to do the right thing and that can be hard. Inside of each of us are desires and stories untold.
Psalm 37:4-7 (NIV)4 Take delight in the Lord,
and he will give you the desires of your heart.
5 Commit your way to the Lord;
trust in him and he will do this:
6 He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn,
your vindication like the noonday sun.
7 Be still before the Lord
and wait patiently for him;
do not fret when people succeed in their ways,
when they carry out their wicked schemes.
GOD HAS THIS ~
I don't know what you are facing today, but God knows the desires of your heart. He has a plan and will handle it, but he first wants you to turn your heart over to him. For example: I was speaking to someone yesterday who was tired of being alone. Tired of doing things his way and wanted change in his life. He called me for advice. His desire was to have a great job, a family and be like his brothers who are happy in family life. As I began to talk to him, I asked him if he turned his complete life over to God? I not going into our conversation but the answered was unclear.
As the conversation continued we saw somethings different. We can ask God for things, but God has also asked me us to turn our will to his will. I can honestly say that some unanswered prayers were really blessings I didn't see. I began to talk about not settling in life for the wrong person. If we do that, it might end in divorce or a very hard marriage. We need to be on the same page, understand the depth of dating and guarding our own hearts. It's easy for someone else to say: Oh you have plenty of time, when they have everything in life or do they?
We can not see inside someone's heart or truly know their desires. We can watch people who have great marriages and it's not always great. There are times of disagreements and decisions maybe not made on the same page. There are other times when you can't see the complete journey of someone's life and you want what they now, but would want what they went through? That's why your journey is your journey and a special walk with God. Asking his plan, his will and helping you get to your desires of your heart.
God's timing is not always our timing
It's not all about marriage either. It's about growing up to find your mate, whether you want children or not, a great job, no financial struggles, having friends, enjoying life and growing daily in purpose. What if you are an adult and you still don't know your purpose or where you fit? You fit exactly in this spot today reading this and allowing God to open your heart for new beginnings. Sometimes things are crazy hard in life and we do watch others. My story continues like yours, but it's up to me to keep my mind stayed on what I know is true, follow my heart and know that God has this day in his hands.
Things change and when they do, we make the best of it. I'm counting blessings right now of sharing life with you who read this. My prayers continue for you, your family and friends. I remember being 18 years old and my Aunt Pearl teaching me this: Get up in the morning, put on some make up and get ready for the day. You never know what might happen and you might need to leave quickly. I guess those words planted deeper than I thought, because each day I take my shower, put on make up and I put my shoes on. I begin to write you (the reader) and I begin to feel the joy of the Lord in heart. The joy of the Lord is truly my strength daily and I love time with others.
Happy NEW Day!
