Watch what God has done for me ~
It all began over 17 years ago, when my daughter invited our family to Hillside Christian Church. She was in College and found this to be a great church. I went from sitting in the back row, to sitting in the front row over years. Life continues to be a process of change, growing in God and learning daily.
MY SOMEWHERE ~
Hebrews 4:4 (NIV)
For somewhere he has spoken about the seventh day in these words: "On the seventh day God rested from all his works."
SOMEWHERE ~ God got your attention too and wants you to follow his plan. Jeremiah 29:11 A plan, A promise and A future. However, your choices matter and your mindset as well. Keep focused on doing the right thing in life and your best daily. Bad stuff happens to each of us, but amazing things do as well.
As I read the word of God, I find rest in my soul. I find a peace that is hard to understand but I just know that God is working things out. I am not who I was 20 years ago and I am a confident woman of God. I lead from the middle of my heart. I make mistakes and ask forgiveness. I am not perfect but totally forgiven by God. I press forward and I know that people watch my life and I do my best to understand where they are at in life. Nobody knows the inside of our brains but God. Nobody cares more than God does and shows us daily through the sky, wind and the things unseen.
I've learned not to compare my life because I was never meant to be you. You were never meant to be me and each of us hold our own example to others. We must own our mistakes in life and then press forward.
Philippians 3:14-15 King James Version (KJV)
I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. 15 Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.
My journey started before I was born. God knew I would be here and his plan unfolds daily. My thoughts are my own and what I think about matters. God has given each of us free will and ability to become an overcomer of all things. Some people will not have the heart of God or want to do what is right. That's why we must guard our hearts and lean not to figure somethings out. Sometimes we must trust God and give him thanks for another chance and a new day.
MY SOMEWHERE ~
The message I spoke on was about Jonah and the whale. It took 3 days for Jonah to continue his talk and prayer to God. Then one day, Jonah was given another chance to do things different. God heard his heart and you can read his story in Jonah chapter two in the Bible. It took God taking him the dark places and was released into another chance. I have found that my darkest spot in life, has brought me to lead others out of darkness too. The devil only lies and the truth is not there. You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you!
God never means to harm us, but the actions of others can give consequences to many. God wants us to lean to the word of God and prosper as our soul prospers. You must press toward God and have daily communication with him. After all, when you want to know someone, you talk to them. I think you get it. My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
Don't let anyone stop you from what God has called you to in life! I didn't and I find myself standing before women leading from the middle of my heart.
