Psalm 18:1-2 NIV
For the director of music. Of David the servant of the Lord. He sang to the Lord the words of this song when the Lord delivered him from the hand of all his enemies and from the hand of Saul. He said:

1 I love you, Lord, my strength.

2 The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer;
    my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge,
    my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

You can continue on reading Psalm 18 and you will find that David trusted the Lord.  The Lord was his rock!  Stop for a minute and ask yourself what is your rock?  Who do you trust and lean upon?  In all seasons of life we need God.  Some of us pull away from God in hard times and others press into him in hard times.  I think it is in the hard times that we find where our rock is resting.

SELF-CONFIDENCE is so important!
Knowing who you are in God and owning victories through God.

In normal lives, there are ups and downs.  There are great moments and sad moments.  In all seasons there is change and in that change comes God.  Resting on the Rock of your soul and knowing that God hasn't brought you this far to leave you. God has brought you this far because he loves you and after your free will, you turn from your ways to God's ways.

Philippians 4:7 NIV

And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding,
will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

As a new day begins, allow yourself freedom to see yourself the way God does.  This life is short and each day holds so much purpose.  So many victories and counting blessings blessings beyond measure. Allow God to be your rock!  A solid foundation in the word (Bible) and continue to press forward.

Matthew 7:24-27 NIV

Building on a Solid Foundation

24 “Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock. 25 Though the rain comes in torrents and the floodwaters rise and the winds beat against that house, it won’t collapse because it is built on bedrock. 26 But anyone who hears my teaching and doesn’t obey it is foolish, like a person who builds a house on sand. 27 When the rains and floods come and the winds beat against that house, it will collapse with a mighty crash.”

Build your house upon the ROCK ~ JESUS!
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
