As I read the word of God (Bible), there are stories that tell the truth. People who see themselves one way and God saw a much different picture. I don't believe their were mirrors in the Bible days, but certainly a reflection of right and wrong came into play. Just know who God says we are in life should make a huge difference. God see's us birthed again through his holy spirit. A change comes into play of who we were and who we are now in God. The mirror we look into is one of seeing ourselves age. The mirror of our soul is one of seeing ourselves one day at time and living in freedom of yesterdays.
1 Corinthians 13:12 New International Version (NIV)
For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
It is sometimes hard to see ourselves the way God does. That can be because of past mistakes, failures, sin, struggles and we are to see ourselves as overcomer. Live sends us each down roads of disappointments, but also to new roads of new beginning. God is faithful to us and we must be faithful back. Showing him the kind of love he shows us. Be extremely careful who you listen to in live and the road you take toward God.
Matthew 7:13-14 New Life Version (NLV)
Jesus Teaches about Two Roads
“Go in through the narrow door. The door is wide and the road is easy that leads to hell. Many people are going through that door. 14 But the door is narrow and the road is hard that leads to life that lasts forever. Few people are finding it.
There is good and evil in our world today. Just like the evil queen went about to do harm, the devil is real today trying to do harm. He wants to destroy each of us, but God has already give us power to overcomer. I am not the negative person in the mirror any more. I am the positive person who looks into the mirror of hope and I know God is guiding so gently. Speak truth to yourself and seeing yourself the way God does. Life is too short to waste time on things that do not matter. Choose to believe and hold onto faith each day of your life.
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
