I grew angry in life as my mom cried out at night to die. She didn't want to live without her husband, which made life real hard for my brother and myself. It was like we lost both of them on the same day. My mom spend the next 40 years in anger and hard to get her to live again. Once I turned 40 years old, I couldn't image my life not living again. I realize each of us are different, but we can't stop living once we loose someone we live. We have other people in our lives who need us and love us. God never meant for life to stop, but continue on in a different way. Sure my mom had something to grieve about, but we also lost out on life with her children and later in life, her grandchildren. Today I want to encourage you to help someone going through a hard time of life. All we can do is be there for someone and hope they will reach out to God for strength.
Hebrews 10:24-25 New International Version (NIV)
And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, 25 not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
NEW BEGINNINGS ~
They happen for a reason.
What do you need today in prayer? Believe and reach out to God plus others. God connects our lives for a greater purpose and there are people who pray behind the scenes of life for you. I never knew my grandparents, but I believe they prayed for their family. I pray daily for my grandchildren, their children to come and their children. YES, for generations and generations to come. I want to be the one who stands strong in faith and know that God is able to handle the desires of their hearts. Not only their desires, but their parents and families too. They are little now, but one day that will be grown and I'll be part of their future by praying now. Who knows how many days we have on earth but God. I do my best daily to extend that love to others and show kindness to all.
Live Hebrews 10:24-25 let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.
Life is good and full of love. Look around you an see how God paints the sky different each day and the wind that comes and goes. There is power in the air and God's love that surrounds us everywhere. Nothing is too big for God. Even your now, if it's hard and sometimes it is, take that deep breathe and count blessings of yesterdays. So much good happens daily and we must live in the peace of God.
Philippians 4:7 New International Version (NIV)
And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
