Mark 11:23-25 New International Version (NIV)
“Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them. 24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. 25 And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.”
MY MOUNTAIN ~
Freedom comes with forgiving
A long time ago, words were spoken to me that were not true. Yet, I believed them by words of leadership in a past Church. Their words broke me and I didn't think I would make it through a situation that was before me. The spiritual mountain before me was too big for me to see forgiveness. But God, in all his goodness sent people into my life to help restore a broken person. I cried out to God for a new beginning and a new church. God answered my prayers and connected me with others. Our example to others is far more important that you might realize. I attend a very healthy church now called Hillside Christian Church in Napa, Ca. I've met amazing people and I have been a leader for over 17 years now.
MY MOUNTAIN ~
There is a sea of forgetfulness
It is important to forget somethings of life. It is often the cause of a great divide between you and God if you hold onto the negative. Somethings we can not change and we must let it go. Grow from it and learn from your mistakes of life. Don't beat yourself and know that God forgets it. Why would a loving God want you to remember something that would hurt you? Never is that answer and he wants us to live in freedom of mind. We must forgive others, but we don't have to put them back into our daily lives. Sometimes we forgive a person and it is important to not let your paths cross again.
MY MOUNTAIN ~
I wouldn't take nothing for my journey of life
I am grateful that God removed my sins and cast them into a sea of forgiveness. I am grateful that God has used my uglies of life to help others. I am glad that God has used uglies from others in my life too. Mixed all together to change me for the better, plus I have learned to forgive myself and forgive others. I do realize the mind is a battlefield of thoughts. Keep those positive thoughts going and knowing the truth of your life. You are created for greater and you are an overcomer of all things. Words are valuable and what you say about yourself matters a lot. Look at how far God has brought your life!
Matthew 17:20 New International Version (NIV)20 He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”
It's time to stir up your faith!
My prayers continue for you, your family and friends.
